The Sting

A: Look at my hand!  It's swollen.  A bee stung me yesterday.

B: Why did you put your fingers on the flower?

A: It was so beautiful.

B: Yes, but they told you not to touch the flowers.

A: I couldn't help myself.  The bee came suddenly and then I felt a terrible pain in my fingers.

B: Let me see.  Give me your hand.  What is this?  This is something else altogether.

A: What's the problem?

B: I don't know what to say. Let's go and see your mother.  Well, this is a surprise.  I never expected this!

A: What!

In preparation:

What has "B' seen on "A"s hand?

Why does "B" want to take "A" to his mother? Why is "B" so surprised?
