You Shouldn't Have Gone

A: You shouldn't have gone.
B: Why not?

B: But he wasn't there anyway.
A: What did you do there then?
B: I can't tell you.
A: Oh don't be ridiculous.
B: Well....I sold it.
A: What!

Why does "A" think that "B" shouldn't have gone?

Whom did "B" not see?

What did "B" sell?

Why is "A" shocked?
