Nurse:
Dr. Smith, what are you doing in
that chair? You can't take a nap now! There are ten patients
waiting outside in the waiting room.
Dr. Smith:
Nurse Sandy, I'm not being lazy. I feel
sick. I have a terrible headache, and my back hurts!
Nurse:
Well what should I do? Do you want me to tell
the patients to go home?
Dr. Smith:
Give me a few minutes. Maybe I will feel better after
a little rest. Meanwhile, just tell the patients to relax ,and have some
coffee and cookies from the visitors' kitchen.

Nurse:
Doctor, what's happening? There are 20 patients in
the waiting room now.
Dr. Smith:
I feel awful. Perhaps you should call Dr.
Johns to come and see all the patients. I need to go home.
Nurse:
Okay. (She goes out). Patients! I am
sorry, but Dr. Smith is really sick.
(Everyone shouts angrily)
Please, calm down. I am sorry but you will have to wait for Dr.
