Every Saturday I go with my brother to the park. We love flying kites.  We each have a handmade kite.  Mine looks like a big bird, with wonderful colors.  My brother's kite looks like a dragon; it is green and has a long tail that waves up and down.

We spend many hours flying our kites.  We want to win the competition next year.  I want to make a huge, box kite, and my brother wants to have another dragon kite with many colors and tails.

Every month we get a magazine that has fantastic photos of kites. We dream about them all. We want to have them all.

Have you ever flown a kite?

If  not, I suggest you do.  It is such fun and you can fly it on your own, or with friends.

Draw a kite.

Write a story about a boy with a kite.
