The magician's rabbit knows all the secrets of the magician.  He sees everything.

He knows how the magician cuts the lady in two, and puts her back together again.  He knows how the dove suddenly appears from behind the magician's hand.

He knows how the tiger in the cage goes away, and then.......abracadabra....is standing in another place.

The rabbit also knows how he himself suddenly comes out of the magician's hat.  His long ears may ache each time the magician pulls him out, but he is proud to be part of the show.

And if you should meet a magician's rabbit, and ask him- even very kindly - about the magician's secret....he will never, ever tell.
